The English Department at Appalachian State University invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in Early Modern literature beginning Fall 2008. Ph.D. in English or equivalent required. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate courses in Early Modern British Literature, including Shakespeare, and general education courses in literature and writing. Faculty are expected to maintain an active program of scholarship and to participate in departmental advising and service activities. Interviews will be conducted at MLA.
