Information for Prospective Arts and Sciences Graduates

Congratulations on your accomplishments!

If you have applied for graduation, you will receive a letter indicating your current academic status. Read your letter carefully. If your letter indicates that you have shortages in your academic program, please attend to this as soon as possible. Although you may participate in the ceremony, you will not receive a degree if you have any academic shortages.

Commencement and graduation

2. You may invite as many guests as you wish to the ceremony. Accessible seating is provided for guests with physical limitations. If you have a family member or guest who needs seating in this area, please arrive early, and ask the student marshals for assistance. Special parking for the disabled is available. 6. Occasionally, a student participates in the graduation ceremony but does not meet all of the graduation requirements. If this is the case, the student is notified by mail.
